A personal brand that turns a CDEI credential into a consulting presence

A real estate education consultant had a hard-won credential and a company — but no brand of her own. We built one: a positioning, a bespoke visual identity, and a single-page site that leads with a verifiable CDEI designation — shipped live to her own domain in a day.

CDEI #73786made the centerpiece of the brand

The whole identity converts a regulatory designation into trust at a glance. A verifiable credential card — ID, active-through date, and a link to the IDECC lookup — anchors the site, with an 'IDECC Certified · CA DRE Approved' trust strip under the hero. The brand sells the one thing competitors can't fake: proof.

Overview

Jessie Pooler is a Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI, via IDECC) and a real estate education consultant — 15+ years in adult learning, a CA DRE–approved instructor, and co-founder of Premier Courses. She had the credibility to consult but no brand to sell it: nothing that packaged her authority for the course providers, schools, and educators who'd hire her. We built that brand and the site that carries it — from raw inputs (resume, CDEI certificate, headshots) to a live custom domain in a single working session.

The challenge

The assets to be credible existed; the brand to communicate them didn't. Three problems set the scope:

Credential, not marketing. The value lives in a designation most people don't recognize on sight. The brand had to make 'CDEI' read instantly as trust — and make it verifiable, not merely claimed.

Her own lane. The identity had to stand clear of her company, Premier Courses, and read as a personal consulting brand — authoritative and editorial, not a course-seller or a stock template.

One page, several audiences. Course providers, schools, fellow educators, and event organizers each needed a path to action — without a sprawling multi-page site to get lost in.

The brand system

A bespoke identity, built from scratch — no template, no UI kit — to look like a credentialed, editorial expert:

Positioning & voice. One promise — 'courses that teach well and stay approved' — names the exact intersection she owns: instructional quality and regulatory compliance. Plain, first-person, authoritative.

Visual language. Warm ivory base, deep pine-charcoal panels for gravity, gold reserved for credentials. Editorial Fraunces serif over a clean grotesk body, mono labels, a rule-and-tick eyebrow motif, and a 'JP' monogram.

The credential as a design object. A featured CDEI card — ID #73786, active through Feb 2029, with an IDECC verify link — plus cards for CA DRE approval and multi-state (CA/FL/AZ) range. Trust shown, sourced, and checkable.

What we built

A single-page, conversion-focused site that moves a visitor from authority to action:

Five sections, one scroll. Hero, About, the Credentials trust panel, Services (course development, instructor training, compliance consulting, speaking), and a Contact panel.

Routed conversion. An inquiry-typed contact form — General, Consulting, Speaking — where the Speaking offering deep-links straight to the form with 'Speaking Inquiry' pre-selected, one click from booked.

Built to be found. Hand-built and fully static — fast by default — with Person and credential JSON-LD so search and AI answer engines read her as a citable authority. Perfect SEO and best-practices Lighthouse scores.

Shipped, not just designed

Designed, built, and deployed in a single session: live at jessiepooler.com on Vercel, with GoDaddy DNS (apex A-record plus a www→apex 308 redirect) and auto-issued Let's Encrypt SSL. It scores 97 performance, 96 accessibility, and 100 on both best-practices and SEO in Lighthouse — and she owns the domain, the hosting, and the code outright. A complete, self-owned brand presence, not a rental.
